Mexican Cooking As It Should Be

Authentic Mexican Cuisine has arrived in Garrucha - Vera.

Opened in February 2007 and under the personal supervision of Fernando Pujol and Betty-Oliveros (of Mexican nationality) we are committed to serving original and traditional Mexican food with the freshest ingredients available.

Virtually everything on the menu is made fresh daily in the truly authentic Mexican way. All of the recipes originate from Mexico and this style of food is not to be confused with Tex-Mex cooking.

Our food is prepared strictly to order, ensuring each meal is fresh, hot and wholesome.

The menu offers a very interesting selection of starters, main courses and desserts which will be beautifully presented to your table.

If you automatically think that Mexican food is spicy, then think again. You will discover that most flavours are smooth, mild blends of exotic ingredients - fresh herbs, spices and authentic marinades. Any spicyness is added as a sauce so you can make it spicy, but only if you want to.

Using fresh produce of the highest quality, a delightful menu is on offer at very reasonable prices.

Average cost €20 - €25 per person.

The Restaurant

Mexico Lindo is situated on the same side of the road as Garrucha's Mercadona supermarket - some 100m further towards the Bougainvilleas roundabout. There are two signs above the two sets of doors leading into the restaurant and bar area.

When you walk through the doors you will be surprised that the restaurant, with 60 covers, is bigger than you would imagine from the outside. It is beautifully and tastefully laid out and packed with rustic Mexican photos and memorabilia which all add to the authentic and cosy atmosphere. The ambience is welcoming with background music, soft lighting and a spacious table layout. A wonderful relaxed setting in which to enjoy superb food, great wine and finish off with a Margarita sorbet - delicious and 'on the house'.

We have full air conditioning for your comfort and we are open every day from 12:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 24:00 except Tuesday.

Party Bookings

If you're looking to hold a celebration of any kind - birthday, anniversary, retirement, engagement or whatever, look no further! You are sure of a great time at Mexico Lindo. Parties of up to 60 people can be accommodated but must be booked in advance. Private use of the restaurant can be made available to parties of 30 or more by arrangement.

Special menus with special prices can be prepared by arrangement - perfect for your office parties etc..

Take Away Food

All of the items on our menu can be ordered for take away. Please telephone with your requirements or call in and have a drink at the bar while you wait for your order to be prepared.

Catering Service

If you would like a Mexican dinner or lunch in your home we can build and deliver a special menu to your liking. We would require a minimum of 10 persons and advance notice of at least 3 days.
